Miscellaneous

You can't maintain a writing practice of any vitality without an equally vital reading practice.

When reading literature, consider reading aloud. It will move the work in ways that only vocalization can.

In any work of creative writing - poetry, prose, performance text - find the music in its composition.

When using digital media, don't forget the source code.
-> It's like assessing a building and not looking in the boiler room. When reading books of criticism, don't forget the footnotes.
