Steven Paul Lansky

Steven Paul Lansky is author of a chapbook called Main St., a collection of urban poems. His six cd, box set, audio novel, Jack Acid is available here. You may read The Citizen, Lansky's serial memoir here. He teaches creative writing at Miami University, Oxford and lives in Cincinnati.

His recent performance work has included multiple voices. Madness and psychological theory both explain this phenomenon. But, the act of turning back to the greek chorus, or the sound symphony of language, provides listeners with both cacophony and a new gestalt. The very latest pieces include projected displays of drawing, generated in collaboration with artist, Leigh Waltz. An attempt to embrace old and new teaching technology and diverse kinds of linguistic, artistic, and literary theory makes these presentations a grand gesture toward fun.
