Kirsten Lavers

Kirsten Lavers' practice is rooted in a history of object based and context specific installation/performance including a body of work addressing the issue of homelessness. Her work now includes collaboration, curatorial strategies, found/generated text and new media including video, sound, digital photography and radio broadcast technologies. She prefers to define herself as a ‘care-taker’ – a term that more usefully and accessibly describes her everyday approach to process, site/context and conversations with participants, collaborators and audience.
